The official currency in Poland is the zloty (złoty in Polish). The PLN code is used and abbreviated as zł.

During the reign of Estanislao II Poniatowski, in the second half of the XVIII century, the esloti was considered like the official currency in the country. The zloty is divided into 100 groszy.

The coins that the polish use in their daily life are those of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 groszy and 1, 2, 5 zlotys.
