The Rock of Gibraltar is a rocky massif of limestone that is attached to the Iberian Peninsula. Although it is surrounded by Spanish lands, since 1713 it belongs to the United Kingdom after the War of Spanish Succession.
In its highest part it has an altitude of 426 meters, where the only primates of Europe live in the wild called Gibraltar macaques.
